Content Strategy Proposal
St. Charles Public Library
Graduate project, Quinnipiac University
I created a detailed content strategy to support the redesign of the St. Charles Public Library’s website, serving a diverse community of over 55,000 residents. The proposal began with a full content audit, identifying strengths and gaps in existing materials, followed by an SEO and accessibility analysis to highlight opportunities for improvement. I benchmarked against peer libraries, then built a strategy focused on clearer navigation, stronger search visibility, and improved accessibility for all users. To bring the plan to life, I developed a messaging framework, wireframes, sitemaps, and prioritized content models, along with writing style guidelines to establish a consistent voice and tone across the site. The final proposal provided both a blueprint for the redesign process and measurable performance indicators to ensure long-term success.
